Essential Instructions for LDSJOBS.ORG

Find orientation to the brand-new church employment program with good Q&A at:

http://www.kuzmich.com/employment/Help7/ldsjobs.html

Leaders will want to log into http://www.ldsjobs.org to create an account and their Profile so they can show & tell how to create an account and complete a professional Profile.

When each person has completed 90% of their profile, employers can browse the Church web site to find employment candidates and contact them directly. This is a truly interactive web site with potential employees listed from 170+ countries.

The Church is building a relationship with companies to encourage them to post available jobs directly from their companies to this employment web site.

Priesthood Responsibility for Church Employment Program

The church employment program is now under the leadership of the priesthood. At the April 2009 General Conference, Richard C. Edgley of the Presiding Bishopric challenged stake presidents, bishops and quorum leaders to respond to the unemployment crisis with the same urgency as the early saints during their rescue efforts of the Willy and Martin handcart companies. An excerpt from his talk is available at: http://www.kuzmich.com/employment/EdgelyRM_LG_PPT_16X9.mpg

Leaders will understand their new roles after viewing this 17-minute PowerPoint presentation at: http://www.kuzmich.com/employment/Untitled3/Untitled3.html
